I have lived in Thornton, and raised my children here for the last 15 years, this community has grown close to my heart.
My wife and I have also built a business here from the ground up, without government aid or subsidies, and we feel truly blessed
to be living the American Dream.
My wife, Michele, is on the board of directors for the Sheila Fortune Foundation, a foundation dedicated to funding non-profit
organizations who provide education in the arts for at-risk youths in after school and summer programs in Colorado, Indiana,
New Mexico, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee.
Our daughter Denyse graduated from Horizon High School in 2003 as Valedictorian. She went on to study at Front Range Community
College, then went on to graduate from CU Boulder with a degree in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology. She is currently
pursuing her Master's at Midwestern University, where she will graduate as a physician assistant in 2013. Our son Nader is
also a graduate of Horizon High School and was Homecoming King his senior year. He is currently attending CU Boulder's Leed
School of Business. The education provided by Adam's 12 has helped pave the way for both of my children and I am very interested
in helping our district stay ahead of the game in terms of education reform.
